Teeth Bleaching products - what work?

When evaluating the variety of teeth whitening products that have been introduced, the following should be considered: effectiveness, comfort, ease of use and the number of shades of lightening they produce.

There are seven basic types of teeth whitening kits or products on the market today. The Seven categories are as follows: Professional tray beaching systems, Oil and bite tray bleaching systems, Non-moldable tray bleaching systems, Whitening strips, Whitening sprays, Brush-on gels, and Whitening toothpastes.

Of these, the best teeth whitening system is the professional tray bleaching system, because it lightens teeth by eleven shades. It works very well and is simple and comfortable to wear. After taking the clients teeth impression, the mouthpiece of this product gets constructed in dental labs. After that it is patterned fixed to the teeth with a teeth-whitening coagulate to build it extra wearable and least receptive to the gum. Although the professional bleaching systems are expensive, they work more quickly and give you perfect teeth whitening.

The boil and bite bleaching system does not work as well as the professional tray bleaching system. But in comparison to non-moldable tray bleaching systems it works well, because it contains between 10 and 22 percent of an active bleaching ingredient called Carbamide Peroxide. With this method, there will be nine different color hues. Because they contain less peroxide, non-moldable tray bleaching teeth whitening kits, while relatively comfortable and simple to use, are less effective. A color change of just three shades are noticeable after using these items. Stripping and uneven whitening of the teeth can result from its use.

If used for an extended period of time, the whitening strips work somewhat and will give the teeth an even color. The brush-on gels, whitening sprays and toothpastes are even less effective because these teeth whitening kits lighten the teeth by just one shade at the maximum. Because too few active whitening ingredients are contained in these products to produce results, dentists believe that whitening toothpastes and sprays are ineffective.
