DEA heads have been refusing to move forward with scheduling for Delta-8, a synthetic THC drug that has been linked to over 100 overdoses. One study states that 6.5 percent of 12th-grade students use Spice monthly compared to only 1.1 percent who smoke cigarettes monthly.

Can you legally order Delta 8 online? Yes. According to Dr. Robert L Larrivee, director at the Northern Illinois Institute of Drug Abuse, adults are now using these drugs as well. His institute has seen an increase in the number of patients between 35-55 years’ old who have been taking K2 or Spice to get high. Although they want to quit, once they try it they cannot stop. He compared this behavior with that of cocaine users due to how powerful these synthetic drugs can be and also because their cravings take over them which causes them to take more than one hit at a time which could lead to overdosing. The problems caused by these three drugs are not just affecting individual families but entire communities as well since locals are seeing increases in crime rates due to how widespread the drug abuse is becoming especially among young people.
